Restorative Justice & DEI Practitioner | Mediator | Trainer & Consultant | Cultural Competency Expert
Tiffany Hoang is a restorative justice and DEI practitioner, mediator, and trainer who has designed and facilitated hundreds of trainings for thousands of people across the U.S., including service coordinators, educators, corporate staff, and nonprofit professionals. As co-founder of CircleUp Education, she brings over a decade of experience supporting organizations in building practical, community-rooted approaches to conflict resolution, equity, and restorative practices. Her work draws on a background in Peace and Conflict Studies from UC Berkeley, formal training in mediation and yoga, and years of hands-on experience coaching teams and developing training programs. Tiffany also incorporates elements of improvisation and experiential learning to create real-world scenarios that help participants build applicable skills. As a first-generation Vietnamese American, she brings lived experience and a thoughtful perspective to her work, with attention to culture, context, and the practical needs of diverse communities.

Charlotte Lichens is a dynamic and grounding force on the CircleUp Education training team, serving as a Lead Trainer with a remarkable ability to turn complex topics into deeply relatable learning moments. With a background in psychology and cross-cultural studies, Charlotte has delivered hundreds of high-impact trainings on cultural competency, implicit bias, restorative justice, and communication skills to thousands of employees across schools, city governments, regional centers, and small businesses.
Her facilitation style blends charisma, clarity, and compassion—making even the most challenging DEI topics accessible and engaging. Charlotte is especially skilled at helping participants connect big-picture ideas to their everyday work, using real-world examples and interactive strategies that spark insight and reflection. She’s also a core contributor to CircleUp’s restorative practices work in schools, where she designs and leads innovative, memorable circle experiences that build inclusion and connection among students and staff.

Tyrone Botelho is a restorative justice practitioner, mediator, and DEI consultant who has designed and facilitated hundreds of trainings for thousands of participants across the U.S., including service coordinators, educators, municipal agencies, hospital systems, K–12 school districts, small businesses, and international firms. As co-founder of CircleUp Education, he brings over 15 years of experience in advanced conflict resolution, equity-centered consulting, and restorative justice program development. He holds a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from UC Berkeley and studied international relations at Sciences Po in Paris. Tyrone’s work is rooted in multicultural education, cultural competency, and deep listening, which he integrates into each training and dialogue process. As a trained mediator, he helps institutions navigate complex cultural dynamics and build sustainable practices that support inclusion, accountability, and systemic change.
