Conversations about diversity have become increasingly polarized, leaving many people unsure how to ask questions out of fear of causing harm. Diversity Uncovered is an interactive and approachable introduction to the realities of bias, stereotypes, and microaggressions. You’ll explore the difference between implicit vs explicit bias, conscious vs unconscious discrimination, and why understanding these distinctions is key to meaningful change. We’ll also clarify the terms diversity, equity, and inclusion so you can engage in conversations about difference with greater clarity and confidence.

  • Define key terms related to diversity, equity, and inclusion with clarity and confidence

  • Understand common fears that make conversations about bias and discrimination difficult

  • Explore the differences between explicit vs. implicit bias and conscious vs. unconscious discrimination
